About the company
The Celebration of Lights at The Concourse is a non-profit organization. Our partner Board members represent Pasco Safety Town, The Concourse, Grand Concourse Railroad and Sertoma.
Proceeds from the 2021 event went to support Pasco Safety Town, Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Summer Camp Scholarship, West Pasco Sertoma, Pasco Sheriff’s Office Explorers Post 916, Pasco Sheriff’s Office Citizen Support Unit, Wheelchairs for Kids, Krewe de Forti Future First Responder Scholarship Fund, Krewe of Chasco, Hope Lutheran Church Hudson, Essential Church and Youth and Family Alternatives. A total of $44,995.00 was made in donations back to our community.
February 22, 2022 – The Celebration of Lights committee members presented donation checks to all of our recipients at the Board of County Commissioners’ meeting. The Board of County Commissioners of Pasco County then presented a proclamation declaring February 22, 2022, as Celebration of Lights day in Pasco County. (see attached photo)
This community event was founded by Dave Parris, who passed away in 2015. He fashioned this holiday light show after the one in his hometown, with hopes young families would create memories and someday bring their grandchildren.
Celebration of Lights at The Concourse has some exciting, musical, and super bright things in store for 2022! We are investing back into MANY new lights and are completing repairs to existing lights.
